The Waterbury Republican-American searched through the state’s sex offender registry and noted that Naugatuck has 26 registered sex offenders living in the Borough, but all of them are in compliance with the state’s guidelines.
While that number may seem high, but proper context is required. By comparison Waterbury has 342 registered sex offenders and 47 of them are not in compliance.
