Naugatuck High School Assoc. Principal Kristina Wallace Resigns
Ms. Wallace's last day at Naugatuck High School was Nov. 1; she has taken a job at Avon Middle School.

NAUGATUCK, CT - Kristina Wallace has resigned as associate principal of Naugatuck High School to take an assistant principal job at Avon Middle School. Ms. Wallace’s last day at Naugatuck High School was Nov. 1, 2019; her official first day as Assistant Principal of Avon Middle School was November 4, 2019.

Avon Middle School Principal David Kimball relayed that their team chose Ms. Wallace because she brings a "high level of energy along with a strong desire to help all students and staff succeed. Coupled with her wealth of knowledge in social and emotional learning, as well as restorative practices, she will make an excellent addition to both Avon Middle School and to the district. I am excited to have her join the AMS family."

“I am grateful for having had the opportunity to partner with the learning community at Naugatuck High School and Naugatuck Public Schools, as a member of the leadership team, in my time here,” Wallace wrote in her Oct. 2 resignation letter.
The Board of Education hired Ms. Wallace in June 2018 and she started at Naugatuck High the next month. Human Resources Director John Lawlor said administrators are currently working to fill the associate principal vacancy.
