Naugatuck High School Jazz Band Earns Honors
It was NHS Jazz Band's first time competing in L-3 Live Category at the National Jazz Festival.
NAUGATUCK - Congratulations are in order to the Naugatuck High School Jazz Band for placing second out of six bands in the L-3 Live Category at the National Jazz Festival. It was their first time competing.
Dylan Trochsler submitted a piano solo and placed 2nd in his category and Yanimel Alvarez and Tyler Czajkowski were recognized as “Outstanding Musicians.”
Naugatuck High School teacher Manny Arboleda posted: "Wow!! Our first year competing in the National Jazz Festival and we place 2nd! Congrats to the members of the Naugatuck High School Jazz Band! Congrats to all performing ensembles!"
