Naugatuck Home Sprayed With Gunfire; Police Investigating

NAUGATUCK, CT — A home on Linda Court in Naugatuck was hit with gunfire Friday night, and local police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect.

The shooting occurred at about 8:45 p.m., and Naugatuck police collected evidence from the scene and searched the area with a K-9 officer.

"The Naugatuck Police are continuing to investigate," authorities said. "Why or if this residence was specifically targeted continues to be an aspect of this investigation. The Naugatuck Police do not believe that there is a threat to the community at large."
