Naugatuck Man Accused of Assault: Police
The victim told police that the accused put his arm around her neck in a choke-hold, police said.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man is accused of assaulting a woman, police said. On March 18 at 8:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute, police said.
It was discovered through the investigation that Ronald Sambrook, 65, of Hoadley Street, became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused put his arm around her neck in a choke-hold after pushing her onto the bed, police said.
Sambrook was arrested and held on a $1,500 bond. He is charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
