Naugatuck Man Accused Of Burglary: Police
The accused was held in lieu of a $10,000 bond, police say.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man is accused of committing a burglary and was arrested on a warrant, police said this week. On March 31, Emmett W. Dalton, 29, of Anderson Street was charged on a warrant, police said.
Police said Dalton was charged in connection to a burglary that occurred on September 30, 2018. He was held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. He is charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary, and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny.
Police Lt. Colin McAllister told Patch that in the September 2018 incident, Dalton and a co-conspirator broke into a residence on Stoneybrook Road where they took in excess of $1,000 worth of goods. The homeowner interrupted the burglary and the suspects fled out of the back of the residence, police said.
