Naugatuck Man Accused of Sexual Assault: Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man, Edison Sanchez, 20, of Golden Hill Street is accused of multiple counts of sexual assault, police said. He was released after posting a $75,000 bond.

On March 13, police arrested Sanchez on an active arrest warrant out of Naugatuck, police said. The warrant stemmed from an incident that was reported to officers on August 16, 2018, police said.

He is charged with three counts of second-degree sexual assault and illegal sexual contact with a victim under the age of 16.
