Naugatuck Man Accused of Threatening: Police
He was released on a $5,000 bond, police say.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man has been charged in connection with a threatening incident, police said. On April 9, officers responded to a disturbance in which Joseph Wilkas, 51, of Andrew Avenue, barged into a residence and became involved in a verbal argument with the victim, police said.
The accused threatened the victim and caused a scene at the residence, police said. Wilkas was believed to be under the influence of alcohol and or drugs, police said. He was arrested and charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace. The accused was later released on a $5,000 bond.
