Naugatuck Man Arrested Twice In Same Day: Police
The accused is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man is accused of violating the conditions of his release, police said. At 8:52 p.m. on April 16 police responded to residence on a report of a violation of a full "No Contact" Conditions of Release (COD), police said.
Officers spoke with the caller, multiple witnesses and Tommy Torres, 33, of Salem Street, who was found to be in violation of a standing Conditions of Release (COD) by being at the residence and within the area of the victim, police said.
The accused was seen and heard yelling and screaming while intoxicated on the victim's porch, police said. The accused was arrested and held on a $50,000 bond. Torres is charged with second-degree violating conditions of release.

Earlier in the same day, police say Torres was arrested after he became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused grabbed the victim forcefully and hit a cell phone from her hand, police said. In that incident, Torres was charged with disorderly conduct.
