Naugatuck Man Assaulted, Threatened Neighbor With Knife: Police
A Naugatuck man accused of assaulting and threatening his neighbor with a knife was recently arrested, according to police.

NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man accused of assaulting and threatening his neighbor with a knife was arrested last week, according to police.
In an arrest log provided by the department, police said officers were called to the High Street area around 9:30 p.m. on March 31 in response to a reported physical altercation between neighbors.
According to police, Michael Brown, 36, of Naugatuck, is accused of kicking in the door to his neighbor's apartment, assaulting the neighbor and threatening to kill them with a knife.

Additionally, Brown is accused of "actively assaulting" a woman at his apartment when officers arrived, according to police.
Brown was charged with risk of injury to a child, home invasion, third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, interfering with officers/resisting, assaulting a public safety officer, disorderly conduct and criminal attempt at second-degree assault.

Brown was released on a $250,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court earlier this week, according to police.
