Naugatuck Man Broke Into An Apartment, Inappropriately Touched a Woman, Cops Say

Police said the incident occurred earlier this month as a School Street apartment.

Naugatuck police say Brian Hoffman, 37, of School Street, is accused of entering a woman’s apartment without being invited in and allegedly inappropriately touched the victim.

Police said on November 7 at 5:23 a.m. officers responded to 43 School Street on a report of a burglary.

Police say Hoffman arrived at the victim’s apartment and entered without being invited in. Hoffman allegedly was intoxicated and inappropriately touched the victim, police said.

Police said they are acquaintances and he was charged with first-degree burglary, and fourth-degree sexual assault. He was ordered held on $20,000 bond.
