Naugatuck Man Charged With 3 Counts Of Assault: Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man has been charged with multiple counts of assault after an argument between family members turned physical, police said. William R. Bell, 39, of Linden Street is charged with three counts of third-degree assault and one count of disorderly conduct. He was initially held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

On June 4, officers responded to a domestic disturbance between family members, police said. During the incident several family members stated they became involved in an argument that turned physical when the accused struck and grabbed the victims, police said.
