Naugatuck Man Charged With Assault: Police

The accused is charged with assault and threatening offenses, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Naugatuck man is accused of assaulting a person in the Borough, police said. On Oct. 4, at 1:47 p.m police responded to a report of a domestic dispute, police said.

It was discovered through the investigation that Christopher Hicks, 23, of Highland Avenue, became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused grabbed and scratched the victim, police.

Hicks is charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening. He was released on a $1,500 bond.
