Naugatuck Man Charged With Robbery, Larceny: Police

The accused was released on a $15,000 bond, police say.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Naugatuck man, Elijah Joshua Quinones, 20, of Lounsbury Street, is accused of stealing the victim's cell phone, police said.

At 9 p.m. on Jan. 19, police responded to a residence on a report of stolen cell phone at a local residence, police said. Police said "the incident was domestic in nature."

"It was also discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused hit the victim's arm away and stole the victim's cell phone," police said in a report.

Quinones is charged with third-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a $15,000 bond.
