Naugatuck Man Charged With Threatening, Given $20K Bond: Police

Police said they responded to a home on Dec. 2.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Naugatuck man, David Soderberg, 38, of Golden Hill Street is accused of threatening a person and was held in lieu of a $20,000 bond, police say.

At 5:08 p.m. on Dec. 2, officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. It was discovered through the investigation that the accused was intoxicated, police said. Soderberg became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused struck the victim and threatened to do it again, police said.

Soderberg is charged with disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening and second-degree unlawful restraint.
