Naugatuck Man Choked, Struck Victim: Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man is accused of violating the conditions of his release after being involved in a domestic disturbance, police said. On Dec. 16, officers responded to a domestic disturbance between family members, police said.

During the incident both subjects stated they became involved in an argument that turned physical when Donald S. Costa, 22, of Rough Ring Road, choked and struck the victim, police said. The accused was arrested and charged with second-degree violating conditions of release and interfering with an officer.

Costa was released on a $15,000 bond.
