Naugatuck Man Held On $100,000 Bond: Police

The accused was arrested three times in two days, police say.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Naugatuck man is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond for violation of probation, police said. On April 17 at 8:28 p.m. officers responded to residence on a report of a violation of a full "No Contact" conditions of release, police said.

Officers met Tommy Torres, 33, of Salem Street, who was found to be in violation of a standing Conditions of Release by being at the residence, police said. The accused was arrested and held on a $100,000 bond, police said.

One day later on April 16, Torres was arrested twice, police said. First, police say Torres was arrested after he became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, he grabbed the victim forcefully and hit a cell phone from her hand, police said. In that incident, Torres was charged with disorderly conduct.

Then later that same day, police said at 8:52 p.m. they responded to a home on a report of a violation of a full "No Contact" Conditions of Release, police said. Officers spoke with the caller, multiple witnesses and Torres, who was found to be in violation of a standing Conditions of Release by being at the residence and within the area of the victim, police said.

The accused was seen and heard yelling and screaming while intoxicated on the victim's porch, police said. The accused was arrested and held on a $50,000 bond for that incident.
