Naugatuck Man Held Knife In A 'Threatening Manner' Toward Victim: Police
Police say some items in the residence were also trashed.

NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man has been charged with several offenses after a domestic disturbance, which led the accused to pickup a knife and hold it in a "threatening manner" toward the victim, police said.
At 11:14 a.m. on June 12 officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument, Tyler Synott, 24, of New Street, broke blinds, a plant and flipped over a table causing a hole in the wall, police said.
Synott also allegedly picked up a kitchen knife and held it in a "threatening manner" toward the victim, police said. The victim was not harmed during the altercation, police said.

Synott is charged with second-degree threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct. He was initially held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
