Naugatuck Man Places Victim In Headlock: Police
Police said they responded to a reported domestic disturbance call earlier this week.

NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man is accused of placing a person in a headlock during a domestic disturbance, police said. On Jan. 14, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in which John Kirdzik, 24, of Bradley Street, became involved in a verbal argument with the victim that escalated into a physical altercation, police said.
The accused grabbed the victim, and placed the victim in a headlock from behind while at their residence, police said. Kirdzik was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree strangulation. He was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond.
