Naugatuck Man Sexually Assaulted Minor: PD

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man was arrested after he sexually assaulted a juvenile victim, according to police.

Oscar Roggero, 42, turned himself in on an active warrant Dec. 27. The sexual assault was reported in August and the victim is known to him, police said.

Roggero is charged with four counts of illegal sexual contact with a victim under the age of 16, three counts of fourth-degree sexual assault, and first-degree sex assault.

He was held in lieu of $150,000 bail.
