Naugatuck Man Snatches $20 Bill from Victim's Hand, Runs Off: Police
Naugatuck police say the incident occurred on Bridge Street this weekend.

NAUGATUCK, CT - Imagine you're standing outside and you're holding a $20 bill and someone walks up, takes the money out of your hand and runs away, well that is what allegedly occurred in the borough, police say.
Police say at 3:15 p.m. on April 23 officers responded to Bridge Street for a robbery complaint.
The victim stated he was outside a store holding a $20 bill and Benjamin Day, 18, of Spring Street, walked up to the victim and took the $20 bill and ran off, police said.

Day was found on Meadow Street and is charged with third-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and risk of injury to a child. He was released after posting a $500 bond.
