Naugatuck Man Struck Woman With Door: Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man is accused of assaulting a woman, police said. On Nov. 28,at 6:40 p.m. officers responded to a domestic disturbance. During an argument Ashraf Malak, 46, of Beebe Street, struck the victim with a door, police said.

The victim sustained a small cut to her forehead, police said. The accused was given a court date and was released on a $10,000 surety bond. He is charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
