Naugatuck Man Violated Blight Ordinance: Police

Police say the man had several items on his property, which he failed to remove by a certain date.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man was cited with blight violations, police said. Harvel Brooks, 50, of School Street was issued a citation for violating the borough's blight ordinance, police said.

The violation was for a blight complaint made on May 9, police said. Brooks has various items on his property, which was determined to be in violation of the blight ordinance, police said.

The accused was given several weeks to comply with the town's ordinance, police said. At the time of the summons the accused has not removed the various items on his property, police said.
