Naugatuck Man Violates Protective Order, Given $25K Bond: Police

The accused punched holes in the wall while threatening to body slam the victim, police said in a report.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Naugatuck man, Alexander Carneiro, 26, of Lantern Park Drive, is accused of violating a protective order and was given a $25,000 bond, police said.

On June 11, police responded to a home on a report of a domestic dispute.

"It was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became threatening when, according to the victim, the accused punched holes in the wall while threatening to body slam the victim," police said in a report.

Carneiro is charged with violation of a protective order, first-degree criminal trespass, risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct. He was released on a $25,000 bond.
