Naugatuck Mayor Announces Storm Debris Collection

All collections will be completed on weekends and may take five weeks to complete.

NAUGATUCK, CT - On 8/12/2020, the Board of Mayor & Burgesses voted to have the DPW Dept. assist the community in picking up storm debris, both limbs and branches.

Please read the following requirements below to participate.

- Residents must call DPW for pickup on or before August 21, 2020, M-F 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM 203-720-7071.

- Branches, limbs and brush must be curbside by 7:00 AM, August 22, 2020.

- Debris will only be picked up along public roads.

- All debris shall be from Storm Isaias; other debris will be left behind.

- DPW will not schedule collections or call before pickups are made.

- When an area is picked up, DPW will not return.

- DPW shall not be responsible for damage to grass.

- No construction/demolition debris, MSW or household items.

- No stumps.

- All collections will be completed on weekends and may take five weeks to complete.
