Naugatuck Mayor Shares Important Information On Absentee Ballots

NAUGATUCK, CT — Naugatuck Mayor Pete Hess shared the following message from Town Clerk Michelle Dowling regarding important information on absentee ballots:

The Secretary of the State has implemented a plan for the issuing of absentee ballots for November 3, 2020 Election.

The Secretary of the State will be sending all registered voters an application for an absentee ballot that will be barcoded specifically to your voter ID.

We are asking that you send this particular application to the Town Clerk (if you choose not to go to the polls) or drop it off in the secure mailbox at the Town Hall. The State has not given us a date that they will be mailing the application to you yet.
