Naugatuck PD Arrests Alleged Soccer Post Thieves
The cost to replace stolen parts exceeds $10,000, police said. The parts were stolen from Rotary Field.

Naugatuck Police have arrested two suspects in connection with parts stolen from several soccer posts at Rotary Field.
The thefts occurred late last month, police said. Police were able to connect the suspects to the incident after some parts were located at a metal scrap yard.
In total about 10 soccer goals were partially disassembled. The estimated cost to replace parts is more than $10,000.

Phillip Kelly, 37, of High Street and Jamie Perugini, 35, of Walnut Street were arrested.
Both were charged with second-degree larceny, criminal trespass, first-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy for the above charges. Perugini was also charged with interfering with police.
