Naugatuck PD Warns Of Fake $20 Bills
Police have seen a "great deal" of counterfeit $20 bills recently.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Police are warning local businesses and the public about counterfeit $20 bills that have been circulating in Naugatuck.
Most recent counterfeit complaints revolve around fake $20 bills, but police have also seen other counterfeit denominations.
Police ask businesses to use counterfeit detecting pens or other devices to determine if bills are legitimate. Anyone with information about counterfeit money is asked to contact police at 203-729-5221.
