Naugatuck PD Welcomes K9 Tommy
The newest K9 is a 2 year old German Shepherd from the Czech Rebublic; he comes from the same bloodline as the recently retired K9 Vane.
NAUGATUCK, CT - The Naugatuck Police Department reports that "there’s a new dog in town."
The NPD introduces K-9 Tommy, who is the successor to recently retired K9 Vane. K9 Tommy is named in honor of the department's fallen brother, Robert “Tommy” Byrne.
The newest K9 is a 2 year old German Shepherd from the Czech Rebublic and actually comes from the same bloodline as K9 Vane, so he has some big paws to fill.
