NAUGATUCK, CT — Police Capt. Daniel Norck was sworn in as the borough's next deputy chief on May 17 following unanimous approval from the Board of Police Commissioners, the Republican-American reported. His contract began April 19 and is set to end June 30, 2026.

According to the Republican-American, the position requires Norck to serve as the department's second-in-command. He began his law enforcement career in 2001 with the Southbury Police Department and later joined the Naugatuck Police Department in 2008.
