Naugatuck Police Arrest Log:

Joshua Reanal Arline, 27, of Murray Road in Bristol is charged with second-degree failure to appear. He was released on a $5,000 bond.

Joseph Smith, 34, of Crest Drive in Waterbury is charged with criminal impersonation, interfering with an officer, second-degree forgery, conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny, and refuses fingerprinting. Police say "On 01/13/2019 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant stemmed from a shoplifting incident that occurred on 01/08/2019 from Wal-Mart located at 1100 New Haven Road. The accused was held on a $10,000.00 Surety Bond..."

Paul M Koniuszewsky, 60, of Maler Avenue in Shelton is charged with violation of probation. Police say, "On 01/13/2019 at approximately 1:02 AM the accused was arrested on a Probation Violation. The accused was released on a $500.00 Surety Bond."

Michael J Mauro, 34, of Old Litchfield Turnpike in Bethany is charged with possession of a controlled substance. Police say "On 01/12/2019 at approximately 7:07 PM the Officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Route 8 south bound at Exit 26 on the off ramp. During the investigation, the accused /vehicle operator was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics/controlled substances."

Ronald Paul Barrows, 39, of Jefferson Square in Waterbury is charged with violation of protective order.

Reyna Burns, 20, of High Street is charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, interfering with an officer and second-degree reckless endangerment. Police say "On 01/11/2019 at 5:15 PM Naugatuck police initiated a motor vehicle investigation at the intersection of Wood Street and North Main Street. During the stop the accused was observed to be operating under the influence of alcohol of alcohol and /or drugs."

Michael Mastrianni, 28, of Prospect is charged with three counts of second-degree failure to appear.

Amy Leigh Capozzi, 34, of Piedmont Street in Waterbury is charged with sixth-degree larceny. Police say "On 01/11/2019 at approximately 11:34 AM Officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed the accused subject illegally conceal $127.37 worth of items and exit the store

without paying for them."

Jonathan J. Brown, 33, of Howard Street in Waterbury is charged with sixth-degree larceny and criminal impersonation. Police say "On 01/11/2019 at approximately 2:15 AM Officers were patrolling the area around Walmart located at 1100 New Haven Road. The officer observed the accused run from the entrance with a loss prevention Officer come out behind the accused. Loss prevention advised that they observed the accused subject illegally conceal $394.98 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying for the items."
