Naugatuck Police Arrest Log (Jan. 23-24)

Naugatuck Police Arrest Log:

Josiah Rivers, 40, of Baldwin Street in Waterbury is charged with conspiracy to commit illegally operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Police said during the course of investigating a suspicious motor vehicle on New Haven Road the investigating officer suspected the accused to be operating under the influence. After administering and failing field sobriety tests the accused was taken into custody and charged, police said. He was issued a $1,500 bond.

Carlyn Nash, 35, of Frost Road in Waterbury is charged with sixth-degree larceny. The accused was observed concealing items by loss prevention who notified Naugatuck Police, police said. The accused was subsequently taken into custody, charged, and released on the listed bond of $2,500 pending her scheduled appearance at Waterbury Court, police said.
