Naugatuck Police Blotter: April 13-16
Three women arrested following a fight over a man and another man held on multiple charges of violating his probation.

DUI CHARGE ON MAPLE STREET
Shayne R. Lydem, 50, 14 Grove St., Naugatuck, was charged with a failure to have tail lamps and driving under the influence of alcohol after police pulled him over on Maple Street at 12:30 a.m. on April 13. Lydem was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 26.
MAN NABBED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES
Chad Swenor, 23, 35 Mountain Village, Waterbury, was charged with six counts of violation of probation on April 13 after police investigated a suspicious vehicle on General Pulaski Way at 9:48 p.m. on April 13. Swenor was held on a total $60,000 court-set bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 16.

MAN CHARGED WITH VIOLATING COURT ORDER
Christopher Matos, 35, 64 Nancy Lane, Naugatuck, was charged with a criminal violation of a protective order after police responded to 66 Nancy Lane for a report of a violation at 6:46 p.m. on April 14. Matos was held on a $25,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 16.
THREE WOMEN CHARGED FOLLOWING A FIGHT OVER A MAN
Jenny Diaz, 36, 278 High St., Naugatuck, and Cynthia Lopez, 30, 234 North Ridge Drive, Waterbury, were both charged with disorderly conduct after police said they got into a fight and injured eachother outside Diazβ home at 12:56 p.m. on April 15. Police said Cynthia Lopez was dropping off her son at the home when Diaz began yelling at her through the car window regarding a man they both knew. At that time, another woman, Amareles Lopez, 25, 802 West Susquehanna, Philadelphia, grabbed two kitchen knifes and began to slash Cynthia Lopezβ tires. Amareles Lopez was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief All three women were held on $2,500 non-surety bonds and were due to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 16.

DUI CHARGE ON PROSPECT STREET
David Kloter, 33, 37 Woodbridge Road, Ansonia, was charged with driving under the influence and a failure to have head lamps after police pulled him over on Prospect Street at 11:42 p.m. on April 15. Kloter was held on a $2,500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 16.
MAN CHARGED WITH FAILING TO APPEAR
Juan Umpierre, 36, 324 Strawberry Hill Ave., Norwalk, was charged with first-degree failure to appear on April 16 after he turned himself in to Naugatuck police. Umpierre was held on a $500 court-set surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on April 16.
