Naugatuck Police Blotter: Aug. 23 to Aug. 25

Eight people have been charged by police during this timeframe. All of the charges are allegations at this time.

Naugatuck Police Blotter:

Davis,Elijah, 20 of Ranchwood Drive in West Haven is charged with third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny, third-degree burglary, and conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary. Police say, "On 08/25/2019 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a Burglary incident that was reported to Naugatuck Police on 12/30/2018. The accused was processed and released on a $10,000.00 Surety Bond."


Mehria Denise Martin, 27, of Wildwood Avenue in Waterbury is charged with three counts of second-degree failure to appear. Police say, "On 08/25/2019 the accused was arrested on an active Failure to Appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was processed and released on a $1,000.00 Surety Bond."

Eric Douglas Mccarthy, 51, of Barnum Road in New Fairfield is charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Police say, "On 08/24/2019 at approximately 4:57 PM the Officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of Cross Street and New Haven Road. Through the officers investigation the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and or drugs, and while failing to obey the traffic signals. The accused was arrested and later released on $1,500.00 NON-Surety Bond."


Aleksey Trushin, 29, of Millville Avenue is charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Police say, "On 08/24/2019 at approximately 1:32 AM the Officer was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the area of 110 Rubber Avenue. Through the officers investigation the accused was found to be operating an unregistered motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and or drugs, and without minimum insurance. This was also the accuseds third offense for driving under the influence. The accused was arrested and later released on $2,500.00 Surety Bond."

Jonathan B. Harris,, 19, of N Main Street is charged with illegally possessing weapon in motor vehicle. Police say, "On 12/14/2018 at approximately 5:31 PM the Officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of North Church Street. Through the officer’s investigation the accused was found to be in possession of an illegal weapon while operating a motor vehicle."


Carlos Filipe Pascoal, 36, of Church Street is charged with violation of probation. Police say, "On 08/23/2019 the accused was arrested on a Probation violation. The accused was processed and held on a $10,000.00 Surety Bond and is scheduled to appear at Waterbury Superior Court on 08/26/2019 at 9:00 AM.


Ryssa Joan Decarlo, 24, of Plymouth is charged with second-degree failure to appear. Police say, "On 08/23/2019 the accused was arrested on an active Failure to Appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was processed and released on a $1,000.00 Surety Bond."


Rolando Baerga, 33, of Willow Street in Waterbury is charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree criminal mischief. Police say, "On 08/23/2019 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a Domestic incident that was reported to Naugatuck Police on 08/02/2019."
