Naugatuck Police Blotter:

Sharanda Gilliard, 23, of Bradley Avenue in Waterbury is charged with fifth-degree larceny. Police say, "On 08/06/2019 the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a larceny incident that was reported to Naugatuck Police on 06/28/2019. The accused stole an item from the victim. The accused was processed and released on a $2,500.00 NON-Surety Bond."

Joseph Datelle Giampetruzzi, 44, of Highland Drive in Waterbury is charged with sixth-degree larceny, first-degree criminal trespass and first-degree failure to appear. Police say, "On 08/06/2019 Officers were dispatched to Walmart, 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed the accused subject illegally conceal $42.74 worth of items and exited the store without paying for them. This is the third time the accused has been caught stealing from Walmart."

Jose Alexander Pizarro, 32, of Wall Street in Waterbury is charged with DUI. Police say, "On 08/06/2019 at approximately 8:46 PM the Officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 103 Elm Street. Through the officer’s investigation the accused was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and or drugs and with a suspended license. The accused was arrested and held on $10,000.00 Surety Bond."

Dillon F. Dias, 26, of Woodtick Road in Waterbury is charged with violation of probation. Police say, "On 08/05/2019 the accused was arrested on a Probation violation. The accused was held on a $25,000.00 Surety Bond."

Kyle Donjia, 29, of Irving Street is charged with third-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief. Police say, "On 08/05/2019 Officers were dispatched to pick up the accused from the Whalley Avenue Correctional Facility due to the accused having an active arrest warrant out of this town. The accused was arrested and transported to the station for processing. The accused was later released on a $2,500.00 Surety Bond.

David Garnett, 32, of Bantam, CT is charged with two counts of violation of probation and second-degree failure to appear. Police say, "On 08/05/2019 the accused was arrested on a Probation violation. The accused was held on a $75,000.00 Surety Bond.
