Naugatuck Police Blotter (Feb. 18, 19)

Naugatuck Police Arrest Log:

Jason Steven Toro Tovar, 28, of Spring Street is charged with disorderly conduct. Police say on Feb. 19 at 6:23 PM "Officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. It was discovered through the investigation that the accused was intoxicated. The accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and almost became physical when, according to the victim, the accused tried to strike the victim. The accused was arrested and later released on a $500.00 NON-Surety Bond to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on 02/20/2019 at 9:00 AM."


Shane Grant McGivern, 29, of Main Street in Lakeville is charged with sixth-degree larceny. On Feb. 19 at 11:52 AM Officers were "dispatched to Big Y Supermarket located at 85 Bridge Street on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed the accused subject conceal merchandise totaling $98.13 and exit the store without paying for items. The accused was arrested and later released on a $500.00 NON-Surety Bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on 02/27/2019 at 9:00 AM," police say.

Jonathan Subh-Marcano, 22, of Hitchcock Road in Waterbury is charged with first-degree violating conditions of release. Police say that on Feb. 18, "the accused was arrested on an active arrest warrant. The warrant was from a domestic incident that was reported to Naugatuck Police on 01/22/2019 in which the accused violated a standing Conditions of Release. The accused was processed and released on a $1,500.00 NON-Surety Bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on 02/19/2019 at 9:00 AM."

Ryan,Melissa Ryan, 38, of Beacon Valle Road in Beacon Falls is charged with interfering with an officer. Police say on Feb. 17 at 11:32 PM the "Officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 732 New Haven Road. Through the officer’s investigation the accused was found to be in possession of marijuana and interfered with the officer's investigation by giving the wrong name. The accused was arrested and released on a $2,500.00 NON-Surety Bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on 02/27/2019 at 9:00 AM."
