Naugatuck Police Blotter: May 31 to June 2

All of the information is provided by the Police Department and all charges are allegations at this time.

Naugatuck Police Blotter:

Gregory Alexander Doms, 24, of Morning Dove Road is charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Police say, "On 06/01/2019 at approximately 1:01 AM the Officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in front of 1059 New Haven Road. The accused was observed failing to drive in the proper lane. Through the officers investigation the accused was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol and or drugs.


Eric Maldonado, 38, of Bluebird Drive is charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Police say, "on 06/01/2019 at approximately 12:37 AM the Officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation in the area of 620 North Church Street. The accused was observed traveling at a high rate of speed. Through the officers investigation the accused was found to be operating under the influence of alcohol."

Denise Butler, 58, of Jason Court, is charged with sixth-degree larceny. Police say, "On 05/31/2019 Officers were dispatched to Walmart located at 1100 New Haven Road on a report of a shoplifting from the store. Loss prevention advised that they observed the accused subject conceal items totaling over $69.64 and exit the store without paying for items."


Matthew Miner, 26, of Scott Street, is charged with violation of a protective order. Police say, "On 05/31/2019 at approximately 4:59 PM Officers responded to a residence on a violation of a protective order complaint. It was discovered through the investigation that the accused was in violation of a standing protective order by going to the residence of the protected person."

Marisha Malikh Evans, 46, of Harker Avenue in Waterbury is charged with second-degree failure to appear. Police say, "On 05/31/2019 the accused was arrested on an active Failure to Appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was processed and released on a $500.00 Surety Bond."


Lisa Lawton, 59, of Spencer Street is charged with second-degree breach of peace. Police say "On 05/31/2019 at approximately 3:56 PM Officers responded to 264 Spencer Street on a report of a tenant/landlord dispute. It was discovered through the investigation that the accused was intoxicated. The accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused spit on the victim."


Kimberly Palangio, 51, of Willow Street in Waterbury is charged with first-degree failure to appear. Police say, "On 05/31/2019 the accused was arrested on an active Failure to Appear (PRAWN) arrest warrant. The accused was processed and held on a $1,000.00 Surety Bond."


Kimberly Palangio, 51, of Willow Street in Waterbury is charged with violation of probation. Police say "On 05/31/2019 the accused was arrested on a Probation violation. The accused was processed and held on a $50,000.00 Surety Bond..."


Matthew Miner, 26, of Scott Street is charged with risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct. Police say, "On 05/31/2019 at approximately 1:52 AM Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. It was discovered through the investigation that the accused was intoxicated. The accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused pushed the victim against the wall in the bedroom."
