The Naugatuck Police Department sponsored the National Night Out event on Tuesday evening at Linden Park.
\The Naugatuck Police Department participated in the National Night Out campaign on Tuesday evening. The event ran from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Linden Park.
National Night Out is an annual campaign designed to promote partnerships and camaraderie between police and the community. The Naugatuck Police Department is participating in the campaign for the first time. The event is tailored for youth, but everyone is welcome to attend the free event.
Police officers from different units within the department gave demonstrations, including the department's three K-9 teams and the bicycle unit.
