Naugatuck Police Officer Promoted To Sergeant
A former Waterbury police officer was recently promoted to sergeant by the Naugatuck Police Department.
NAUGATUCK, CT — The Naugatuck Police Department recently promoted David Graham to the position of sergeant, according to police.
In a Facebook post, police said Graham began his law enforcement career with the Waterbury Police Department in 2014 and transferred to Naugatuck in 2017.
Since then, he has served as a field training officer, a member of the traffic unit and honor guard and a crash reconstructionist for the Naugatuck Valley Collision Investigation Team. Most recently, he was assigned to the Connecticut State Police Violent Crimes Task Force, according to police.

During his time with the Waterbury Police Department, Graham was awarded a level two commendation.
As a Naugatuck police officer, he has been awarded a medal for meritorious service, a life-saving medal and three unit citations. He is also a five-time MADD Award recipient and was named Naugatuck's Officer of the Year for 2023, according to police.
