Naugatuck Police Officer's Act of Kindness Stands Out

After a woman was involved in an accident, the police officer made sure the woman and her groceries made it home safely.

NAUGATUCK, CT - This is just great.

Naugatuck Police Lt. Bryan Cammarata on the Police Department's Facebook page detailed how one of the department's officers went above and beyond the call of duty.

"You can't always believe what you hear about Officer Burns. Look at him helping this woman who was involved in an car accident. After conducting the investigation he wheeled her groceries a block down the street. We don't have photos of this, but rumor has it he also put the groceries away, cooked lunch and then did the dishes," Cammarata added in his usual comedic style.
