Naugatuck Police Raise $2,200 For Charity

The funds were donated to the Connecticut Cancer Foundation,

(Naugatuck Police )

On March 11, 2019 Terri Eickel from the Connecticut Cancer Foundation stopped by to thank officers for their work on the No Shave November fundraiser which benefited the charity. Male officers grew facial hair and female officers painted their nails bright colors after raising money for the charity. All together, officers raised over $2,200 for the cause.

Sergeant Ryan Burns who organized the department's involvement in the fundraiser is pictured center- Maybe as a show of commitment to the fundraiser he took it upon himself to grow one of the more aggressive beards...In any case everyone is back to normal grooming standards until next year's event!
