Naugatuck, CT - The Naugatuck Police Department will resume fingerprinting services for applicant and employment needs effective June 17, 2020.

Ensuring the health and safety of not just our employees but also the public remains a priority for us. With the resumption of these services we will now require that they be by appointment only. Members of the public will need to contact: Training Officer Matthew Dasilva 203-729-5221 Ext. 2598 mdasilva@naugatuckpd.org **(email is preferred) **

In addition to scheduling an appointment we will ask that members of the public provide a temperature check, wear a facial mask, and answer some basic screening questions regarding any symptoms or exposure to COVID-19.

Ideally, this system will allow for us to cut down on waiting times and also prevent lines which can prevent potential exposure to COVID-19. We thank the public for their understanding looking forward to the resumption of this service.

Please note links to the pistol permit application can be obtained on our department website (naugatuckpd.org): http://naugatuckpd.org/filesto... df -
