Naugatuck Police Searching for Owner of Found Ferret
The ferret was found on a street and was either injured or sick, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT — On Dec. 14, Naugatuck Animal Control received a walk in complaint regarding a found ferret that was located in the area of Prospect Street near Lines Hill Road, police said.
The animal appeared to be sick or injured and was examined and treated by a local veterinarian, Police Lt. Bryan Cammarata said.
As of this date the ferret owner has not been located and Animal Control will offer the animal out for adoption if it is not claimed by the owner in the next few days.

If the owner contacts the Naugatuck Animal Control they can reclaim the animal by speaking with the Animal Control Officers at 203-792-4324 or by emailing NPD Officer Schaaf at cschaaf@naugatuckpd.org.
