Naugatuck Resident Wins Connecticut Lottery Prize

The lucky scratch-off ticket winner also purchased it locally, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck resident is $10,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery scratch-off ticket this week in the borough, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

Antonio Tavares claimed the prize last week from a 10X Cash 15th Edition game. He purchased the winning ticket at Stop One Mart on South Main Street.

The $10 scratch off game has a grand prize of $10,000, and there are 180 of those top prizes left, according to the lottery. More than 5.2 million tickets were printed, and its overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.
