Naugatuck Resident Wins CT Scratch-Off Lottery Prize
The lucky ticket was sold in West Haven, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket that was purchased in West Haven, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Monday, Qaiser Masood claimed a winning "20X Cash 7th Edition" ticket that was purchased at AFZ Foodmart on Derby Avenue in West Haven.
The game, which costs $20 per ticket, began in August 2021, and as of Tuesday, 28 grand prizes of $20,000 remained unclaimed, and eight second-place prizes of $10,000 also were still unclaimed.

More than 2.1 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 4.08.
