Naugatuck Residents: Here's Your Guide to Holiday Events in the Borough

Eighth Annual Festival of Trees hosted by the United Way of Naugatuck and Beacon Falls takes place tonight from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tickets for the event are $20 per person.

The event will take place at Ion Bank located at 87 Church Street.

All proceeds benefit the United Way of Naugatuck and Beacon Falls.

The trees will also be on display from Dec. 8 till Dec. 12 to the public.

There is no Admission for this Event, but Please Remember a Non-Perishable

Military Tree

On December 8, 2014, in addition to Naugatuck’s traditional Christmas tree on the Green, we are decorating a tree on the Green dedicated to our members of the military serving at home or abroad. Any family member, veteran or grateful citizen may come down to the Green at any time and hang an ornament on the tree to honor our service men and women.

Toy Drive

The Naugatuck Firefighters Union Local 1219 is hosting a toy drive on Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the Walmart on New Haven Road.

Letters to Santa

The Department of Parks and Recreation is sponsoring “Letters to Santa”.

Letters can be dropped off at Santa’s Mailbox at the Park Department office located at 258 Rubber Ave. till Dec. 19. Don’t forget to include your return address.
