Naugatuck School Calendar Has 1 Major Change
School officials have unveiled the new school calendar for the 2018-19 school year.
NAUGATUCK, CT — The Naugatuck school calendar for 2018-19 has been approved and here are some of the highlights.
"One major change: The Columbus Day holiday will be replaced with an extra day off the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.This change was made based on historically low attendance rates on that Wednesday, which was traditionally a half day. The change will allow families to travel for the Thanksgiving holiday," school officials said.
