Food donations are needed now more than ever and we can always count on Naugatuck to take care of its own.

NAUGATUCK, CT - The families of the students and the staff at Andrew Avenue Elementary and Hop Brook Elementary School collected canned, non-perishable, boxed food items and snacks to donate to Naugatuck's school-based pantries managed by CT partnership for children, Inc.

The Andrew Avenue students that brought in an item got to wear a silly hat to school. Thank you to the parent liason, Mrs. Lowe, for delivering all the goodies. The photos show the creativity they used to stack them.

Other schools in the district have been collecting food donations as well, with several big boxes ready to be delivered at Cross Street.
