The Naugatuck High School softball team lost in the second round of the Class LL state tournament Thursday 3-0 to Darien.
The Greyhounds had just one hit. It came from the leadoff batter in the seventh inning, Kara Klimaszewski, who ripped a single.
Nina Kosciuszek and Jenna Miller pitched for Naugatuck. Kosciuszek pitched the first three innings and gave up three runs, while Miller pitched the final three innings.
Naugatuck ends its season at 15-8.
