Naugatuck Spring Curbside Leaf Collection Dates Announced

NAUGATUCK, CT — Spring curbside leaf collection will take place in Naugatuck the week of April 22 on residents' normal trash days, according to Naugatuck Public Works.

In a Facebook post Monday, public works officials reminded residents all leaves must be in brown paper bags and placed curbside by 7 a.m.

Grass clippings, pine needles, hay, flowers and other soft yard waste material can also be placed in brown paper bags.

Bagged leaves and other soft yard waste materials can also be brought to the Naugatuck Transfer Station and disposed of at no charge, public works officials said.

The Transfer Station is open Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
